I'm Raf. I'm the co-founder and CTO of Skill5.

Before Skill5, I spent years leading technology at a fintech in APAC, where training was always a bottleneck. Materials quickly became outdated, hard to track, and no one wanted to watch a 45-minute video. It didn't scale, and it didn't stick.

When I teamed up with Tim, our Co-founder and CEO, we had a shared vision: make corporate training fast, engaging, and effortless. Something employees wouldn't dread, and managers could actually rely on. That's how Skill5 was born.

Tim was previously General Director of DHL in multiple countries, managing massive operational complexity across regions. He's a world-class operator with the rare ability to simplify chaos and scale systems that actually work. When the idea for Skill5 came up, we both knew the pain, and we knew we could solve it.

We started by solving cybersecurity training with DefSafe. But soon, clients kept asking the same thing: Can I use this for everything else, too? The answer became Skill5—a platform that turns documents into branded, AI-powered video courses in minutes. No video editors. No long production cycles. No guesswork.

We're not here to build another LMS. We're building the next generation of workplace learning, one where training is personal, automatic, measurable, and genuinely useful.

We care deeply about the people using Skill5. That means obsessing over UI, being hands-on with every pilot, and treating our early customers like partners, not accounts.
